Plastic Melted Bowls
I ran a string of tests to see how I could melt my plastic over moulds in a kiln to create my own bowls. After some playing around with temperatures and times I was able to come up with some interesting finishes.
Degree Show snaps
Here are a few pictures of work from my degree show. The first picture is an overview of my space from one end. Along the walls are plastic samples and at the far end is a light display of various other samples. There is also a light box table with bits of work on and two dresses next to it. The first a chain mail style dress and the second made up of overlapping flaps of plastic.
The bottom picture you can see a light box table I have made to view the true quality of each sample displayed along with a book displaying more samples and a plastic bowl made of my plastic holding business cards.

Some more lighting yah
I had another go at making some lighting out of my plastic. This time I gave vacuum forming a go which worked well, only problem was the finish at the bottom and how it could be better fitted to its base. Still though.... liking the development!
Remember Glasto...
How I wish I could be at Glastonbury this year. All the great times and fond memories! This artwork is a photo that has been manipulated on photoshop. The photo of friend Rosie Taylor was originally taken at Glastonbury and has been manipulated to remind me of the beautiful hot summer days spent at Glastonbury with unforgettable endless robots. If you were there you know what I mean!
